Swing Side Snatch Blocks for Portable Winches
Swing Side Snatch Blocks are versatile pulleys for Portable Winch rigging systems. Their swing-side plates allow compatible rope to be installed without threading the entire line through a closed block, making setup and repositioning easier.
Redirect Pulling Lines and Increase Mechanical Advantage
A properly selected snatch block can redirect a pulling line around an obstacle, change the pulling angle, or provide mechanical advantage when used in an approved block-and-tackle configuration. This makes snatch blocks valuable for forestry, log skidding, property maintenance, and heavy outdoor pulling.
Durable, Efficient Pulley Design
The product line uses aluminum sheaves and precision components designed for smooth rope travel. The oscillating side plates provide convenient rope installation while the closure helps retain the line during operation.
Pair the block with a properly rated steel locking carabiner and polyester sling when the configuration calls for them.
Important: Mechanical advantage does not eliminate the need to verify the working load limits of the rope, block, anchor, winch, and every other component.
